Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Operlyx Links collects and how we use it. It is a plain-language summary for our MVP and does not replace formal legal advice.

What we collect

Account data: your email address, used to sign in with a one-time code.
Link data: the destination URLs, slugs, and settings you create.
Click analytics: aggregated counts by day and hour, country, device type, operating system, browser, and referrer. We also keep a short-term, per-click event log so you can drill into recent activity. All of it is anonymous — we never store IP addresses, full user-agent strings, cookies, or any visitor identifier, so individual clicks can't be tied to a person or to each other.

How we use it

We use your data to operate the service: authenticate you, redirect your short links, render QR codes, and show your reports. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

Aggregated day-level analytics (counts by country, device, and referrer) are retained for your plan's window (30 days on Free, 3 years on Pro) plus a short grace period, then permanently deleted. The finer per-click event log and hourly, OS, and browser breakdowns are kept for a rolling 90 days and then automatically expire. Lifetime click totals are kept with the link.
